Weird things near Azshara

There is a glitchy area near the sea in Azshara, if you go infront of the big gun and just keep on going as if the gun was shot, you will get to an area where there is a square and it's green. If you go in the water there, everything goes to hell.

The point was trying to recreate the situation in Sandbox and check if the weirdness in the area wasn't just my version of sandbox, but something Blizzard did there.
