Anyone else having connection issues?

So i got my beta invite in battle.net, download client, had problems with patches but got it finished. Now i'm getting Unable to connect, http://img267.imageshack.us/i/97191883.png/. I tried the fix were you download the cache file but i couldn't find the Application Data folder in my hard drive. I also can't post on the official cataclysm beta forums, it won't let me choose a character.

Go to control panel, folder options, view, and make sure show hidden is selected, apply, save, profit

=O THAT DID IT! The folders are now there! thank you, thank you thank you! Lol, now to see if that's what fixes it.
