I was recently hacked for the 2nd time. First time I was hacked it took about 2 hours to restore my gear, gold, etc. This time it's taken over a day. Is there any way I could speed this up?

Speed up the time between hacks? Maybe by continuing to not use an auth.
No, speed up the time for the restoration.
You could get an authenticator.
Stop going on bad porn sites?
Be nice guys. I got hacked myself a couple days ago and I'm still waiting. They told me the average wait time is 5-7 days so I'm just sucking it up and leveling an alt.
If you got hacked twice though you should seriously consider getting an authenticator whether it's the little keychain thingy or through the ipod Application (you get a pet either way )
I also suggest going to the Computer forums and going through the How to get rid of keyloggers sticky thread. It helped me a lot and you definitely don't want to keep keyloggers on your computer.
Maybe Blizzard won't restore your account this time.
Perhaps the GM who got your ticket was like, "So, he didn't learn the first time around? Why bother, he's just going to get hacked again..."
I would of thought a Moderator on these forums would know that they were not hacked. I don't think there are any cases of someone being hacked. They were keylogged. Closest to hacked was Man in The middle, which was just a keylogger being actively watched.
Yes you can speed this up. The solution is simply educating yourself so you never have to be in this position in the first place.

I don't pity people who got hacked. If they are ether too cheap or/and stupid to properly secure their personal assets on WoW, then they have no real life security. Hell, if you managed to get hacked, it would probably be extremely easy to drain your bank account, or simply become you.
That's a great mentality until you get hacked yourself. Behave guys, last warning. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything.
advice; be nice to the phone rep or rep via email. blizzard plainly states that they do not have to restore your account in any way. if you truly value your experience and the progress you have made on the account, i suggest you get an authentication device for the measly price of 6$. the only reason i hadn't purchased one before the time that i did get one, was due to the fact that they had sold out and i had to wait.
-also, don't let people know in trade that you got hacked, you will just get trolled by a bunch of 12 year old kids and armchair network enthusiasts who think that victim blaming is appropriate.
I acctually got hacked 3 times...
2nd time came totally without warning, I KNEW I had removed any malicious software on my computer, and I'm always very careful with what sites I visit on the internet. I managed to get my account back very quick though. Third time came before I could even do anything about the second compromisation, except resetting the password. The hacker reset my password again and changed secret question and answer so that I couldn't reset my password myself anymore.
Anyone can get hacked, no matter how careful and secure you think you are. The only real way to be "safe" is to buy an authenticator or 2.
I was hacked once (in January), and it was a pain. It took about a week to get everything back. Authenticators should be mandatory. I had purchased one and it arrived on the very day i was hacked. Just couldn't get it on in time. I probably was hacked 1-2 hours before the mail arrived with the authenticator.
