Yes I know it's only early beta and that there's probably been some post about this (checked first 8 pages to no result)

How will flying mounts work in cata? can you just log in and mount up as soon you got the game or do you need to pay a fee?

Also is it free to fly over all zones or you need to visit them by foot first?

As it stands now... yes.. you can just mount if you are level 60. Free to fly over all zones.

You can also purchase 310% speed for a price... and if you already have a 310% mount you get that skill free.

So far, yes all you do is log in and mount up, and you can fly pretty much anywhere. you can fly directly into MtHyjal, Vashj'ir you need to do a phased intro quest to get into.
