US|Bloodhoof|Alliance| Para Bellum 10-Man Casual moving to 10-Man Strict

Para Bellum is a new (Jan 2010) Alliance, 10-man ONLY, Raiding Guild on the Bloodhoof server dedicated to developing a strong, progressive, and team focused guild fully driven towards end-game raiding by establishing and enforcing the highest level of guild standards regarding community, professionalism, and class development; including planning, organizing, and executing professionally run end-game raids.

Per Guildox, we are a casual 10-man guild but our focus into Cataclysm will be Strict 10-man. Our belief is that 10-man content provides a harder degree of mastery to achieve, takes a very focused team to accomplish, and most importantly, creates a stronger bond between the members of the guild.

Currently, we are 11/12 normal ICC. This is due to the summer months, downfall of our economy, and personal issues that arise in life affecting our members. Nonetheless, our goal is to close out ICC and move into heroic as soon as a stable team is established.

Thus, we are in search of people not only looking to benefit themselves, but their teammates. We want people that have good communications both inside and outside the game and we want people willing to upgrade themselves both inside and outside the raid environment. We also want people willing to research new boss encounters and are able to take multiple wipes pushing through the content. Most importantly, we are looking for professional members who focus on class mastery and are more importantly, dedicated to the team concept.

    Raid Schedule
    Bloodhoof - Eastern Standard Time
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00PM - 11:00PM

    Raid Management
Para Bellum did maintain a core roster of only 10 dedicated raiders. However, personal issues that arise would delay our raiding schedule and achievement success. Thus, we are opening our ranks to new members and benchmarking our raiding structure off the Number One Strict 10-man Guild in the world: Vox Immortalis.

The system is a two-tiered raid structure for all guild members. All members are identified as Centurion (Core Raider) and Principales (Substitute)

Centurion is a core raider and is automatically assumed to be present for all schedule raids.

Principales is a part-time raid member when available during raid times, may step in for a Centurion's position should the Centurion be missing in action.

Furthermore Vox identifies two types of substitute:

There are two types of people who may want to join as a Substitute. A Dedicated Substitute is someone who is fully qualified/desires to be a full-time Raider and can meet the time/effort requirements, but because of an already max capacity full-time roster of Raiders, could not be assigned a Raider rank upon joining. This Dedicated player has indicated a desire to be a full-time Raider to the Officership and is online/available during raids and is actively substituted in for any absent Raiders. If, over time, this Dedicated player proves him or herself to be more capable than an already active Raider, or when a current Raider retires, the Officership may elect to replace the current Raider with this Dedicated player and give him or her a full-time Raider position. In general, a Dedicated Substitute is someone who wishes to be part of a high-end Strict guild like Vox Immortalis full-time, but has the patience to prove him or herself even when a full-time opening may not be available for his or her class/spec.

A Casual Substitute is someone who meets the usual requirements of knowledge, skill, and play-time of normal raid members, but for whatever reason cannot commit to 100% raid attendance based on our schedule. Therefore, while this Casual player may be capable of performing as well as our current Raiders, this player cannot meet the attendance requirements to become a full-time Raider. Instead, a Casual Substitute may wish to join Vox to be available to raid on some, but not all, of our raid nights and, when available, may be substituted in for a full-time Raider to cover absence, tardiness, etc. In general, a Casual Substitute is someone with the desire to be part of a successful Strict guild like Vox and experience high-end raid content, but cannot commit to a specific, full-time raid schedule.
