Question Fury Warrior downtime = Blood DK in Cata?

    Hey guys,

I understand the whole "things still might change", yada yada, but the first look at the new Fury Warriors talents made me think that with dramatic improvement to Blood Craze talent, leveling as Fury would actually resemble that of Blood DK a lot - i.e. almost no downtime, thanks to powerful self-healing. Especially if you got 2 heirloom trinkets giving %4 of your health on each kill equipped.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks.

imo they made it for fury pvp

You can actually control a DK's self healing abilities (DS) and there are some short cooldowns (VB and RT). As a fury warrior, RNG may screw you, except for enraged regeneration.

I'm confused by this thread. It starts out looking like your complaining, but then you compare fury leveling to blood DK leveling. One of the major bullets for this expansion is ease of leveling. Mana based classes no longer, supposedly, have to rely on water until forty-sh, and by then you get talents that help mana. AKA, very little downtime.

Healing based specs are all receiving easier ways to level, not light speed like say hunter, but probably comparative to today's mage.

And again to go back to your comment things still might change, are you saying you want downtime as fury, or .. well, I don't know. Haha

One could argue that buffed version of warriors' Blood Thirst would do exacely what DS does for DKs, but I do realise that under no circumstances BT would be as powerful as DS is.

Just thought of rolling a worgen warrior, but really don't wanna bandage every 2nd fight...

Could you please quote the exact part of my post which remotely looks like I was complaining.

So, you don't think that even if primary design of this talent is for PvP, it would be useful in PvE (leveling)?

I thought Victory Rush gave you 30% max health after using it?

I was under the impression that Fury warriors already had zero downtime.

    Glyphed Bloodthirst?

Sure, if you're fighting mobs that never hit you.

    Bloodthirst heal is terrible.

It looks like it got reduced to 20% of max health, but it's true in any case.

    Victory Rush
    Melee Range
    Requires Battle Stance, Berserker Stance
Instantly attack the target causing (AP * 45 / 100) damage. Can only be used within 20 sec after you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor. Damage is based on your attack power. If used after a killing blow, will heal you for 20% of your maximum health.

the victory rush heal is only when it is activated by a killblow and not by the talent.
