Range & Hawk Eye Questions

I have noticed the Hawk Eye talent of adding additional range is missing from the current talent tree builds. Have the designers added this range into all shots or just completely removed this fundamental aspect of the Hunter Ranged Class?

As both SV and MM my max range is 35 yards.

So I would have to say... yes they have completely removed it!

Wow. that isn't what i wanted to hear : ( Our great range is what set us apart. Is Kill Shots range 35+ ?

Hopefully they'll roll Hawk Eye into the masteries. (e.g. Marksmanship Hunter). Perhaps someone in Beta can suggest it?

Pure classes just have their spells always go to maximum range. We have to keep some checks and balances in place for healing classes to make sure the dps spec beats the healing spec when actually doing dps. Hit, big crits and range are some of the mechanics that let Elemental \ Balance \ Shadow trump the Restos and the healing preists.

Sounds like they just haven't updated them to the proper ranges yet.

As Seabeast said, range talents are gone. They have removed a lot of straight +damage talents and baked them into baseline, so it stands that range is part of this.
