The proud king of the isolationist nation of Gilneas, which closed it's gates to all outsiders at the end of the Second War, now acting as the left-hand lackey of Varian (not even right-hand!). I really don't buy it. At least give the poor old bugger a chair!

Based on Genns character he probably refused a chair because he felt he had something to prove to Varian, who isn't phased at all by the thought of never sitting down. I'm now laughing at the mental image of Genn looking more and more tired as the patches roll by. :P

Well, Genn could have his own plans on Gilneas.not that he`ll run away from alliance.
suck Varians...err,chin.get ally soldiers, hold gilneas and have total control over that zone.

how can you sit on a chair after wild night with Varian somewhere in keep?as far as im aware, jainas busy at night too, so Varians kinda lonely.

Well to be fair losing Gilneas wasn't really all Genn's fault. The Cataclysm fucked up all his planned defenses. The wall and Gilneas' geography that that protected it from naval attacks were demolished because of the Cataclysm which were things out of his control. But it was a double edged sword as his people were trapped with the Worgen so the curse spreading was part his fault. But he did manage to quell Crowley's uprising and keep order for a while.
