The Eye has been soloed by Rogues, DKs, Ferals, Enhancers, and Hunters at the very least. Probably more, this is just my anecdotal knowledge. In fact, as a rather poorly geared rogue (about 358 equipped ilevel... damn bracers won't drop ), I can regularly get into the fourth phase without incident. I just kinda... fail with Capernian and Telonicus at the same time

Also, Illidan has been soloed by either Raegwyn or Mione... I forget which.

There is a way as a hunter or anything else with a pet.

Kael'thas's Mind Control has a ~30 second cooldown and it can be line of sighted, you can see when he "casts" the spell by an emote he does in chat.

Think it was Kripparian that solo'd it.

I've got him to roughly 68% on my death knight but it's extremely RNG based and long. Since recently the mage can't be Los'd in kael'thas room anymore so you have to resort to the "glitch"pulling them out of the room. Still requires a lot of luck and practice but possible

Kael'Thas is soloable by a hunter, I did it, twice.

I have no proof of me doing it, but just type "Hunter solo Kael'thas" on utube, I learnt how to do it from there.
