    Gilnean Worgen vs Gilnean Forsaken

This picture deserved its own thread.

For those who don't know who Lord Godfrey is, he was Genn's second hand and main supporter before the events in Gilneas. He hated Crowley and he hated the Worgen. He jumps to his death after he finds out that Genn is also a Worgen.

Battle for Gilneas just took a twisted turn.

On a side note. I like his armor models. Give for questing gear?

If that's NPC armor, I can't wait to see Cata player armor.

Blizzard could do this new Forsaken-raising-other-people thing very well, or very poorly.

If all the "new" Forsaken accept their state and blindly pledge allegiance to Sylvie, I will be sorely disappointed—after all, they're supposed to retain memory and free will, and I doubt very many of them would be content.

On the other hand, if some of them accept their new Undead state but reject Sylvanas, instead leading splinter factions of their newly-raised countrymen for very specific and personal reasons, like we see here, it would add a lot of depth to the game.

There are many, many ways someone could deal with this Undeath thing. I'd like to see the full spectrum.
Still waiting on the skillscore addon ...

People seem to forget that the Valkyr can charm those who are raised, and basically remove them of their freewill.

So wait, we get to kill Godfrey after all? Wicked, that guy's been grating on me since my Gilnean gunslinger became a worgen.

There was a clip at one point here on mmo (Might have been a jesse cox video) showing the new starter zones and starter quests, it showed a new forsaken player helping other undeads raise from the graves, down in of the crypts. One of them said "Oh, so I guess I'm Horde now" and then ran up the stairs like all the others. So they seem content enough...

Amazing sig, done by mighty Lokann

So Godfrey, Lord Walden, and Baron Ashbury are back and want to settle the score. I was hoping they would raise Godfrey!

Yep, it's Godfrey, Walden and Ashbury. They are now my personal NPCs and questgivers.

No he kills himself because he would rather die than serve a Worgen. But before idiots run in and yell "WELL DAT MEANS HE CULD BE FORSAKEN" No he is racist to anything not a human. He would kill himself again if he could rather than serve Sylvanas. If he follows her its because he lost his free will.

Judging from the Worgen starting zone... I don't necessarily think this is as much a benefit for the Forsaken as they think.

Oh wow. Can't wait to kill him as well.

He doesn't seem like one who'd be very happy about being a Forsaken though considering how he reacted to the Worgen transformations. Perhaps this is just more proof that Sylvanas is taking away free will?

Dude, I know how the Gilnean story goes. But if he's undead, and if he's showing up as green surrounded by Forsaken, that means I can take my pally up to him and punch him in the face for being such an asshole.

If he's PvP-flagged, whatever, wouldn't be the first time I flagged to take my frustration out on an NPC (HAI Garrosh in Nagrand!)

Sick of this! I just hope ally heroes from Outlands will be back and will kick some surprised butts.

No, Baron Ashbury says that he preferred that they (Gilneans) burned his corpse.
