He was just pretending to be on the Forsaken side so he could assassinate Sylvanas. Being undead makes the perfect undercover :P

Guess that Godfrey will get a rename come Cataclysm since he hasn't really got any impact on the story at all.

Two theories:

1. He was strong enough to get rid of the control (like Sylvanas did once herself, and Lich king was stronger then the Valkyrs so it's plausible)

2. It is because of this "incident" that she starts to mind control her new servants.

Might be more reasons but both of those theories seems possible in my eyes.

OT: It's just a shame that one of the few (maybe only so far) Alliance victories can only be seen Hordeside (i'm pretty sure Sylvanas being shot isn't shown to the Worgen, and while were at it all the other Gilnean Liberation Front stuff) making it a bit of lore that a lot of people aren't even going to notice.

Why are we "forsaken hating hippies"? Seh gets only judged because her doings. Undead beings are monsters, and undeads raising more undeads to monsters, well, are even more monsters.
Even Garrosh was right about to forbid it.

A little curious but arent Worgens considered monsters too? and The rising of undead is to ensure the forsakens survival... WE OF THE HORDE SUPPORT YA SYLVANAS, DEATH TO THE ALLIANCE!!!!

Guys i have a question. I don't track the gilneas & forsaken war, just watched few videos, but i cannot understand one. Crowley is a badass, but is he ally to Genn. And why Godfrey sacrificed himself to be a forsaken o_O
