Well, Sylvanas is a Banshee, she is just possesing her old body. She can't die from being shot... She'll just leave the corpse. Even if it's a real spoiler she's not dead.

Nope. There's a Horde quest in WP where you go around raising the dead and then brainwashing (charming, as she calls it) them into serving Sylvanas.

Even if her death is not permament, I hope she dies for real sometime. She is becoming more and more the Lich Queen, and the Forsaken are becoming the new scourge.

militia soldiers who the Alliance is using as cannon fodder to distract the Forsaken from the main attack.... They had to be stopped and fast and charming them was the best way to do it .

Again no indication the charms are permanent and again not representative of all new Forsaken as proven by Lilian Voss .

.... story elements! It shows that she doesn't have the luxury of giving her newly raised subjects freewill. It's one of the reasons contributing to her more heinous behavior in Andorhol. It happened for the sake of character development!
