-I don't care what the next expansion is about, as long as the story is dark and rich so I can refer to it as Chocolate WoW.
Typo, I am sorry. Lol

noting about blah blah, fault blah fault...
There should be an ingame password to access sales mode. Nothing can be sold, traded, destroyed, auctioned or mailed with out first entering a password.
Simply re-enter you password before loggin off to lock down sales mode again.
It would be a lot harder to key log you when you are playing. You press so many buttons all the time that pickingout your password would be near impossible.
FK the Paid for extra security. Just implement a decent approach to keeping idiots & the rest of the pr0n loving community safe.
I think he meant "Authenticator Hack Rate Study" simple mistake, not something big.
I myself don't own an Authenticator but I'm thinking of it but the deeper I think the more I think of it as a hassle. Yes, it gives a tiny bit more security to my account, but it also has a chance of being compromised. Not only that but every log in I need to put it in, and possibly soon on forums?
Just not worth the hassle in my eyes but to each their own

I'm pretty sure the one who voted yes is a troll. Tsk tsk.
No authenticator, 5.5 years, no hacked account.
I have played wow for probly about five years now, never used an authenticator, never been hacked.

The people who have been hacked while using an authenticator are either trolling or they got done over by that man in the middle program a few months ago.
erm in theory it should not be possible to be hacked while using authenticator
I dont own one and I dont plan getting one.
I find such devices quite annoying and following simple security rules is enough for such non-critical things as computer game account.
The odds to be hacked while having an authenticator are about as high as getting hit by lightning. Sure, it IS possible and quite a few ppl had it happening to them but would really stay in the house everytime it rains outside ?!?
26 years and I haven't been struck by a meteor, shot, or hit by a train ... I must be invincible. If you've browsed around the internet at all, the fact you haven't been hacked (without an authenticator) is a matter of luck not a tribute to your leet anti-hax0r skillz.
On a serious note get an authenticator. A tiny price, and a slight inconvenience each log in, for dramatically increased security.
You are greatly misinformed if you believe it to be only a "tiny" security upgrade. If you don't have one, you'll probably get hacked. I know of at least 10 friends who said the same thing. "I don't go to bad sites." "I know how to protect my PC." None of them had Authenticators, ALL OF THEM got hacked. We've even started to joke around saying "Blizzard must be selling account information to the gold farmers in order to raise Authenticator sales." LOL.
But seriously, an Authenticator makes your account virtually unhackable. The effort required to bypass an authenticated account isn't worth a hacker's time to circumvent. They just move on in all but the most infinitely small cases.

I have one question. Do you use your BN email on ANY OTHER sites? If you do, you'll probably get hacked. I wish you the best of luck.

You should add another option to the poll.
"I haughtily thought I was unhackable, didn't get an Authenticator, and I got hacked. I'm a sucker."

I got hacked once in early BC, Blizz was a bit slow but got back most of my valuables. Then I got hacked again just in January (and Blizz was much better, got everything back very fast) - this was a close one as they also got my email password so locked me out of that as well, managed to restore that too. I know, fool me twice and all, but I got an authenticator after that second one and feel much more secure now.
As a side note, I wonder what would happen if they gave all epics zero vendor value? I mean I like making back 10g of my re-enchanting costs when I upgrade just as much as the next guy, but I don't think we'd notice. And the hackers left my pvp gear alone as it is un-DEable/no sell value. Maybe put a limit on the number of DEs per day? Though I suppose most of their business is selling characters whole anyway.
No hacks before or after Authenticator. And I surf at porn sites etc. but have up to date Firewall + Antivirus.
i have an authenticator but i de-installed it to my account because it was annoying to have to enter those numbers all the time, besides, me and my friends often share accounts with eachoter (call the cyber police!), like when we need an enchant or a craft and they aren't online we just log their account and fix it
i've been hacked 13 times before that though, 12 of wich were in vanilla and i was new to computers and one in tbc
