    New battleground idea: Smoldering Basin 15 man Battleground

    NOTES: Working on pictures, general layout of the battleground, looking for feedback not trolls, fixes and ideas here and there would be great thank you.






    Smoldering Basin


    Storyline - With the resundering of azeroth, a great ancient dead volcano has emerged from the far southern waters. Both the horde and alliance have built encampments there unknowing of the other. But soon, the Horde and the Alliance found each other and a big battle broke out. This rage angered the volcano, reactivating the ancient beast. A minor explosion went off, shattering the Horde and the Alliance's encampments. Only a few huts remain for each of them. The only way out of the soon to erupt volcano is to get the 3 channelers to conjur a portal out of there. But during the explosion and the battle, the horde had taken the Alliance's channelers and vice versa. All of the keys for the doors have fallen into lava but 3. You must find them and unlock your channeler's doors and escort them back as fast as possible so you can get out alive!


    Channeler's Rooms



    The channeler's room is the room you begin the battleground in. This is the room you need to escort the channelers back to their designated spot and let them begin conjuring that portal on outa' there. In the room there is also some of your weakened ally. They have minimal health left and will soon die. You can however, choose to give them a key to hide so the opposite faction doesn't know its whereabouts (So when say its 1 - 0 and they have already gotten the point for blue you can hide the key so they don't get they blue key). Also, when a wounded soldier sees an enemy chopping through his allies trying to find a key, nearby wounded may get up for one final adrenaline rush and deal some mighty damage.

    Wounded Soldiers

    The wounded warrior was put in place to solve the problem of holding a key and hiding in the corner. The wounded warriors have no effect to Elemental Burn (see keys). When you give a soldier the key, he vows to protect it, and so do the other wounded. If enemies come in stabbing away at corpses looking for a key, you will activate Adrenaline Push, causing the wounded warrior to fill with rage at the sight of his ally killed, his attack speed is increased by 100%, damage by 100%, and hp increased by 20% for 20 sec.     Mage soldier: When in Adrenaline Push uses:

    Arcane Barrage




    Keys

    Keys are the main point of this battleground and allow you to unlock the door to your channeler. But not only does this key unlock doors. These are powerful keys. Each key gives a helpful buff to the holder to make it more appealing to want to have that key and go help the channelers.

    Red - Increases movement speed by 10%
    Green- Increases healing taken by 10%
    Blue - Increases all stats by 5%

    Elemental burn - After 6 minutes worth of holding a key(it stacks to avoid dropping + repicking up), the key's very element has burned you, forcing you to drop it, you cannot pick up another key for 2 min.

    (This is to avoid taking the key and farming HKs regardless of if you have that point or not)

    The keys are placed on 3 seperate spots of the volcano, and the Horde and Alliance must fight to get to them. Once the player has a key and is killed, the key is up for grabs (like a flag) and anyone can take it.

    Once you have made it to the door that the key matches, you will be welcomed by a very very happy and thankful summoner and now you must safely escort him back to the channeling room to begin the portal conjuring.



    Channelers

    channelers are the little buddies who are trying to get you out of this place. While still fearing for their lives, they will still try to help you out with a few nifty abilities to help you and the channeler. Once the channeler reaches 5% HP, he will become neutral, begging for his life and making him clickable by the opposite faction for 20 seconds.

    When he is clicked by the opposite faction, it throws a chain around his neck and then he must be dragged back to the prison in which he came. It is a 6 second cast to chain up a slave.

    After 20 seconds of him cowering and begging on the ground and nobody comes and takes him away, he is available for friendly players to save. This is to avoid the "Zerg the flag carrier" aspect of the game)


    Summoner Spells

    Fel Absorb - Places a bubble on nearby friends for 1900 and increases healing recieved by 20% lasts 60 sec

    Demon speed - Increases Summoner's movement speed by 15%

    Deadly eyes - the channeler teleports directly infont of you, looking you deep into your eyes, sending you in a deep fear for 10, it cannot be dispelled, removed, or trinket. 1 min CD.

    The Terrain

    This battle takes place inside a great ancient volcano that is soon about to eurupt. The model of this map is inspired by many aspects of RFC (with no roof) and abit more lava spew. In the picture below, I am not a professional drawer by far, so the calculations (Horde/alliance base distance to keys) is a little off. but you will get the idea of where the keys/bases will be located when I can get a picture up.

    BG's are for PvP while this has some fun looking stuff, people wouldnt be focused on the PvP part of it
