Amalgamation
3 minute cooldown
learned at level 80
Your totems become infused with elemental power, increasing their health by 5% of your maximum health, taking on an additional effect from other totems for 1 minute. These effects have their damage and healing increased by 30% and only affect the shaman.
your searing totem takes on the effect of healing stream totem. both effects stack.
your healing stream totem takes on the effect of tremor totem, pulses will periodically restore mana.
your grounding totem takes on the effect of magma totem.
your earthbind totem takes on the effect of searing totem.
the way this ability would work is as optional and situational utility and dps increases, while taking care of the problem of being able to fear break and have earthbind down at the same time.
you could essentially have two searing totems going or two magma or two healing stream totems going, although the second healing stream wouldn't benefit your party.
the totems you cast while under this effect don't benefit from the damage and healing increase, but the "duplicate" totem effects benefit from it.
for example: it would be useless to use Amalgamation and just drop searing, as the 30% damage wouldn't apply to it, you would need to drop earthbind (searing).
examples: say you play enhance and a movement phase is coming. pop this cd, throw down magma, earthbind (searing), and grounding (magma) and you've got yourself a little burst dps.
same thing with elemental; movement phase coming? pop this, throw down 2 searing totems and a magma.
this talent isn't too appealing for resto in a PVE environment, i know, but at least it gives them something else to do during down-time, a lil flavor for them, i added in the mana return portion so resto could see more usefulness in PVE. but the mana return part isn't intended to be a dupe of mana tide, but more on par with manaspring; it's tied to the water totem so you couldn't have "two manasprings" down.
