head tracking

so I am using a smartnav 4 for a mouse due to my disability, but I am finding it hard to pan the camera and move my character. It seems to have a mind of its own, as it spins wildly. what I want to know is, is there a setting I need to change? And is there anyone else out there who uses a head tracker?

Not having used such a device, I can but guess. My first guess is that your 'Mouse Look Speed' and/or 'Mouse Sensitivity' in the Mouse section of Interface Options is too high. You may also want to change the Camera options to suit your desired behaviors - personally, I find it most usable with everything unchecked and 'Never Adjust Camera' set.
