Just for future reference the dungeon was Blackwing Lair but the end boss was Nefarion. Blackwing just refers to the black flight of dragons. Also, the dragon you are speaking of is Vaelastrasz.

Sounds like she is gravely injured aka out of helping for a couple of patches at least and possibly won't be at full strength for deathwing encounter.

Calen on the other hand looks like he may be captured and corrupted and fought later ala koristraz in nexus.

Also deathwing may be injured and delayed there fore setting the reason we will fight other stuff for a year and a half before his tier comes out.
