Helcular held his hand up and covered his face from the wind.
He took a quick look around, noticing how it suddenly got darker and the fog seemd to get thicker.
Who are you? What are you talking about?!
His voice echoed thru the fog...
Upon hearing the question, Helcular lost his balance and fell into the sand.
And put his hands into the sand, and slowly lifted himself upwards.
"what i long for?...."
He glared toward the figure as he stood up.
I want my brother!
Helcular kept glaring toward the figure.
His legs felt weak, he coulden't stand.
He lowered his head, and stared into the sand.
It was quiet... no birds.. no waves..now wind.. nothing.
A let out a low sigh.
Helcular awoke with a gasp.
He quickly looked around..he was back at the inn in Southshore..
The room was empty, and his cloths were dry... it was a dream after all..
How he got into the inn however was a mystery.
He stood up, and walked out the room.
Some sunlight beamed into the corridor from the window.
With a yawn he began to walk down the stairs, toward the exit.
The downstairs were empty aswell.. except inn keeper ofcourse.
While rubbing his eyes, he exited the inn, starting to wonder where Telcular was.
Many of the townsfolk had gathered outside of the town hall.
A tall man with dark skin and pitch black hair, probably in his late 30s or early 40s, seemed to captivate their interest.
Beside him stood a young brunette.
With sun-kissed skin, hazel eyes, and a slim, yet soft, curvy figure, she was something rarely seen around these parts.
She looked to have no interest in whatever those around her were saying.
She leaned against the wall of the town hall and looked to be off in her own world, perhaps lulled there by boredom.
Helcular took a quick look on the crowd.
There were no kids there, so Telcular was hopefully at home then.
As he began to walk home, he kept lookign toward the crowd, trying to hear if there was something intresting going on, probably was something about taxes again.. who was that girl thou? perhaps she wa...
Helcular grunted as Sally burried her hand into his stomach and ran past him.
He turned his head and glared toward them as she and herod ran past.
Why don't the two of you do something worthwhile instead?!
Upon seeing them run around the corner of the inn, he looked back toward the crowd, and noticed that all of them was looking at him.
Helcular took a quick look toward his house.
He didn't really have much to do there anyway..and if Telcular was there, he could wait.
He let out a low sigh as he walked up to Nat, the eyes of the crowd had returned toward the man.
He whispered toward Nat.
What's going on?
Helcular took a quick look on the man... he never really looked at him, so he didn't really remember.
He turned his head slighly and looked toward the girl.
She seemd rather young..nice hair... without doubt taken..
He sighted as he walked away, didn't really care what the man had to say, being carefull to look around for brats running around.
He stop'd and looked back toward the crowd.
She didn't seem to be with anyone..perhaps?
He shook his head slightly, what would she see in him anyway.
He started walking again, then he started thinking.. all of the town was at the hall..
He took a quick look toward the inn.
"Everyone is busy..."
A small smile came upon his face as he began walking toward the inn, a little drink woulden't hurt, especially not after that nightmare..
"...Come, let us show you to your suite," Helcular could hear the Grand Magistrate say.
The Magistrate began walking towards the inn, the High General and his daughter following.
Naturally, the crowd, too, followed.
Some of the men could be heard snickering between themselves as Brigitte walked off.
"Brigitte can stay at my house anytime..." one of them whispered.
"She's free to praise my holy light..." another one sneered.
Helcular sat down at a table, and looked toward the inn keeper.
a Flagon of Mead, please
While waiting, he looekd toward the entrance, they were geting a room, so they would be here longer then a day for some reason.
The innkeeper gave Helcular his beverage and walked back toward the counter.
He took a sip of his beer, and noticed that the three of them just entered the inn.
The magistrate, seen many many times, friends, but not close, The high general, still unsure if he really remembered him, or if nat just tried to mess with him, and then the daughter, Brigitte, who was even prettier when she was close.
He stop'd looking, and took another sip as they were about to pass him.
