    wow on my laptop

    hi

i'm having problems with lag when i play on my laptop wich i find strange becaus i think the raw power of my laptop is greater then the raw power on my desktop (where it works fine)
i can only play wow in the weakest graphics

    specs
    processor: intel core 2 duo p8600 @ 2.40GHZ 2.4GHZ
    ram: 4GB (3,49 available)
graphical card nvidia quadro nvs 160 m

i do play wow from an external hard drive (wich i guess is bad )

any help ? (except from saying upgrade your graphical card driver

greetings, somone who wants to play wow with higher graphics

you answered yourself to the question

clean your pc and copy the wow folder into your laptop?

Game will run faster from the laptop's internal HDD, but it doesn't make big difference for FPS, just loading times. Laptops are inherently weaker than desktops because of the power saving features. Pulling numbers out of my hat, a laptop with 2GHz CPU is somewhat equal to desktop with 1.5GHz CPU.

Also laptops tend to be preloaded with all kinds of shit. If yours takes longer than 2 minutes to boot into desktop and all programs started, it's time to clean out the trash.

    Trolling should be.

from the discription it might make a difference to pc's that are running at their maximum, which would be your laptop i guess

I use GameBooster on my woeful Celeron-based laptop. It does help pretty well with older hardware.
