IF you dont mind the Rom and emulator form and not thats it is quite old.
Pc Snes emulator - Crono trigger, Final fantasy VI,Secret of mana, Secret of mana 2(Seiken densetsu(jap name, with patch english)(there all role playing games with an awesome story)
Pc Psx Emulator - Castlevania Symphony of the Night, awesome.(a real nice castlevania game, with a brilliant castle and fighting system)
Pc Thief Deadly shadows an awesome thief with story game(Break into houses,castles,caves,ships and hideouts and steal the shiny´s outta them)

Having just made a post about the new one, I very highly recommend the original Deus Ex. Great voice acting and very memorable lines plus a few political discussions.

One of the most epic games out there would be HoMM3 (Heros of Might and Magic 3)
It is kinda old.. but is one of the best games ever.
If you havent played HoMM3 (I didnt read other replys) I think you should try it.
I dont know how to explain the game, but id say its RTS Based, turn based RTS game.
