Help this lost lvl 80 hunter out please.

Hey guys.
Im kind of lost.
I just dinged 80, and starting to collect tier 9 ( ofcourse )
But even though im 4222 GS, i stil only do 1578dps.
Besides i dont know what gear to get.
one of my trinkets has items level 138 lol.
Dont say, DO LICHKING 25!
thats useless.
Maybe my talents wrong?
what gear do i need, and where to get?

Yes: i know my gun is a tank gun, but its better then the lvl 78gun you get from a random quest.

One thing I noticed is you have just under 5% hit with no talent points spent into +hit. Hit is our best dps stat until hit cap (8%).

If you're playing survival one thing you need to get Resourcefulness (lowers CD on black arrow which is nice for the dot and the buff)

Lessen your points in BM to grab that and get at least 1 point in Go for the Throat and Aimed shot (more mobile than multi-shot and sniper training affects it but not multi)

Other than that most of your talents are fine, get a third glyph (explosive shot is a common one)

There's a few ranged weapons you could get in ICC 5 mans and raids.

As for your pet, you should only put one point in bloodthirsty, no charge and no boar's speed, max out spider's bite, get rabid and call of the wild. The last point is either put into shark attack or wild hunt, this I have seen to be preference.

Gemming is pretty good but you should think about enchanting your gear, every little bit helps.

40 heroism badges will get you a trinket called Mirror of Truth (most people neglect this trinket because it's ilvl 200 but to this day, it remains a good trinket)

Also, have you thought about getting professions?

Skinning gives crit
Lw gives best bracer enchant, cheap leg enchants
engineering has hand rockets, good cape enchant, good boot enchant (with use function that can save you in certain situations)
Jc gives extra stat gems

What im going to do now is:
Get skinning lvl 400.
Respec my talents for the dark arrow.
Respec my pet to remove all aggro skills ( why did i not come up with that )
and with the money from skinning, il buy enchants and maybe some other gear.
and also: lvl 200 trinket

As another said, your hit rating is too low. Even if you have a draenei in your raid/group, you'll need at least 3 points in Focused Aim to be hit capped, which is 8%. You are sitting at 4.76% right now, so no matter what you do, need to get your hit rating to at least 5% and get 3 points in FA, or 2 if you're positive you'll always have a draenei with you.
Replace your low trinket with Banner of Victory by spam-running ToC5 normal. Your other trinket is a Super Simian Sphere o.O So I suppose try replacing that with a Greatness Card if you have the gold, or a Mirror of Truth if you don't.

Other priority upgrades:
BELT SLOT: easy to get is http://www.wowhead.com/item=50270 or http://www.wowhead.com/item=45827 or http://www.wowhead.com/item=45553 whatever is most convenient for you.
RING: You do NOT need expertise. Get rid of that ring, it's far more cringe-worthy than toting around a tank gun. Try to bribe somebody into letting you do trash in ICC10 with them so you can get the friendly agility Ashen Verdict ring. If they tell you 'your GS is too low for ICC' tell them you don't have to stay for bosses, you just want some rep so you CAN get gear.
BRACERS: http://www.wowhead.com/item=47576 craftable, easy to obtain with Emblems of Triumph buying you the crusader orbs.
NECK: http://www.wowhead.com/item=45820 totally acceptable vendor neck.

EDIT: AND BOOTS: Again, you don't need expertise! It is totally useless for you. http://www.wowhead.com/item=45562 if you're on a budget. http://www.wowhead.com/item=49897 if you've got the gold and don't feel like changing your boot slot for an extremely long time.

Knowlegde is the best weapon of choice. I did lots of reading and it improved my game

just go to the triumph badge vendor, pick out a piece of gear that will be the biggest upgrade (green hat? save for the purple one) and then run heroics. you may even come across a new upgrade in the process. find a good shot rotation (for surv. ive seen KS>ES>BA>Aimed>SS)
