    Draenei?

So I noticed that as of now the Blood Elves in Cata have a significantly stronger presence in the Horde than the Draenei do in the Alliance, what with the setting up of various camps and NPC's all over the world. I was wondering if anyone that's in beta right now has seen some increase in Draenei activity in Azeroth, maybe even just a few more quest givers. So far they only have one settlement outside of the Isles where they crashed.

There's not as much draenei presence, you're right. But there is probably good reason for that. They've only been on Azeroth for a few years, whereas the blood elves have been here for thousands if you include their lineage. It would make sense, from a lore standpoint, that there would be more of the Sin'dorei about since they are natural inhabitants of the world.

But that is a really good question. From what I have done on the beta, I haven't seen any noticeable increase in our spacegoats from coast to coast. Anybody else seen anything exciting?

Apparently in the Swamp of Sorrows there's a major Draenei lore event involving Velen, although I haven't seen anything other then vague references to it.

As for why there are more Blood Elves then Draenei, that's because they've formed their own version of the Explorer's League. The Draenei are around providing various military and spiritual services for the Alliance (and occasionally the Earthen Ring or Argent Crusade), but they don't seem to have a specific direction in all of this. Hence, all the Draenei are scattered around in non-Draenei settlements while the Bood Elves have their own areas.
Roleplaying, hardcore Raiding, running LFR on the occasional weekend, PvPing, rolling alts, achievement hunting, pet battling, or just enacting an endless series of whims, I don't care how you play WoW. Just as long as you have fun doing it.

draenei are relatively few in number and have only been in azeroth for a couple years, so it makes sense that they don't have many settlements. don't worry, i'm sure in a future expansion we'll be visiting argus, their former homeworld, then we'll be up to our necks in draenei lore.

^Hopefully this. I'd give an arm and a leg for this to be the case (not my own of course, probably those of some Forsaken i'll be tearing apart on my worgens in due time )

They're somewhat involved in Ashenvale. You run into one in Astranaar and she loans you an Elekk that takes you all the way to whatever that old Night Elf place is Northeast of Splintertree...

They're helping to reconstruct the ruins.

I know nobody asked, but I'll include some screenies of the Draenie at "Forest Song" - the ruins I mentioned above.

Heard somewhere that Draenei have set up forward camp in the southern part of Uldum (by the BElven camp).

Well I cant say that im sad about their not-so strong presence. they`ve been here only for few years. and

    THEY

    ARE

    FEW.

Unless they can reproduce themselves like rabbits.

Altho, Id like to see their presence in Shaman-like-related lands. Like Draenei shamans involved in Aeria Peak and so on. id like to see them, err how to explain. kinda like teaching dwarves.

i mean. now dwarf shamans are official so id make sence that Draeneis approach them. they dont have anyone else except themselves in shaman-ism in alliance so, yeah.u got the point.

and here i cant imagine why would they go to Swamp of Sorrows. wtf are they doing there. id make more sense them to be in zones like Feralas etc where shamanism and ogre-ism is common.

I just started questing in Deepholm on Beta last night and there are a few Draenei in the Earthen Ring down there. I'll keep an eye out for any other Draenei related stuff .

Swamp of sorrows is full of Lost Ones and some Broken from when the Dark Portal opened, they decided to settle there.

I really hope the Velen event is about the Lost Ones. Many probably remember the Draenei efforts to make peace with the Lost Ones in Zangarmarsh in TBC. Hope the lost ones rejoin the Draenei, could possible open up for Draenei getting Druid class in the future.

I'm holding onto my hope that the Draenei have a new questing hub in Winterspring. The place doesn't have nearly enough quests in live so It'll almost certainly be gathering another quest hub or twoand its in a good position for the Draenei to do something (extremely close to Night Elf lands)

Overall I really want the Draenei to do more, yeah we all know there aren't many of them but giving them one new quest hub would go a long way for the fans.

Winterspring would be a really nice place for a Draenei quest hub, their architecture would look neat in a snowy environment.

From what I heard, there are Draenei working with the Wildhammers in the Hinterlands. And not just Ambassador Rualeth either.

For clarification: only a few Draenei crashed on the Exodar BUT the Dark Portal has been open for years now and there are portals in Shattrath that lead all over Azeroth. There's no real reason for there not to be more Draenei on Azeroth, especially since they became so exposed to its inhabitants during TBC. Their options are 1) sit on a planet that's slowly deteriorating into the Twisted Nether or 2) escape to a planet that still has some hope, where their presence could really make a difference for the better.

Also, the draenei are joining the high elves of Quel'danil on their fight against the Forsaken of hiri'watha. New NPC's such as Highvale Vindicators (draenei) and Highvale Swiftblade (High elf) Also Tracker Yoro and a female anchorite whos name I can't remmember.
