i created a private server for myself just to try out things like model morphs/ speed/ flying in azeroth/ scale morphs etc...it was fun for like 1 hour...

I have also played on a couple of private servers when i was waiting for a game time card to arrive before i had a debit card...i can honostly say the whole super speedy leveling/ epic top gear bought at a maul is incredinly dull...the best private server was with gm powers purchased for a small fee with gm's morphing into things and .appearing all over the world and having gm lessons under the world tree :P

Another great private server i played in that short period of time involved fun activites such as an obstacle course imagine tons of floating tables aligned so you have to jump from one to another and if you miss you fell to your death while other players had an object to knock you off to your death aswell..

was a nice little break from the usuall wow grind stone :P
