Hello I'm rather new here, I enjoy mmo-champion's Cata updates so I'd figure I'd try the RP here as well. This is my Forsaken Warlock, a character I have had much fun RPing in the past but has been collecting dust as of late. I'd figure I'd start her over again as Cata seems to be a real spotlight for the Forsaken.

Name: Paulina Northfold
Age: Died at 25, now 33
Race: Forsaken
Gender: Female
Class: Warlock
Personality: Independent, she's not as loyal to the Dark Lady as she should be and secretly fancies herself as the Dark Queen. She's also frivolous, letting her minions or allies do all the dirty work, though if need fall upon her she does enjoy gouging out the eyes of a particularly annoying enemy with her finely sharpened claws.
Likes: Fine clothes, fine jewelry, and watching her enemies burn from a distance.
Dislikes: Getting her hands dirty, taking orders from those who weren't of nobility in life.

Appearance: Patches of her discolored skin are missing from her face and her long, ragged hair lacks the shine it used too, but by Forsaken standards she is quite attractive. Having been killed by an arrow to the heart afforded her the luxury of less gruesome battle scars.

Strengths/Weaknesses: She's a beginner in Warlock magics having just enrolled as a Mage with the Kirin Tor before her demise, yet she seems to be getting a knack for the whole spell casting thing rather quickly. Not very proficient in melee combat which is why she relies so heavily on her minions. Is stubborn and ignorant of those who try to command her that weren't of equal or higher rank in life, bu will eventually buckle in under pressure. Well traveled over the majority of the Eastern Kingdoms from the city of Silvermoon to the forests of Elwynn. Interested in alchemy.

History: Paulina was born to the Northfold family estate in the Arathi Highlands. The Northfolds were a successful noble family that had owned and worked their land for generations. They were also a very large family having members spanning across all the Human kingdoms and even one or two Half-Elves in the family tree. Paulina was the pride and joy of her father and she was treated like a princess and shown off in every major city. As she grew into womanhood she courted the attentions of many a young nobleman but always fancied herself marrying a young prince, perhaps Galen Trollbane of her native land or even that dashing Arthas.

In a bit to better her standing with the royal families of the various realms (an perhaps even after she had seen the success of one Miss Proudmoore in courting a prince) Paulina enrolled with the Kirin Tor to train as a Mage in Dalaran. She could already summon rudimentary fireballs with much practice in her spare time so she figured the rest couldn't be so hard. Sadly it was not meant to be as Paulina was just arriving when the forward guard of Arthas' army ambushed her and her escort, slaying all including Paulina. She arose in service of Lich King until the day he was slain and his hold on her, already weakened, finally slipped away.

Eager to find her place in this new world she had awoken into, Paulina chose to become a Warlock instead of a Mage and set out to reestablish the Northfolds as a name to be reckoned with.
