Following that logic, Blizzard needs to remove Arcane Shot. Volley is a spell only because of game mechanics. Don't you think a hunter can be good enough to just crazy-shoot a bunch of arrows for a short amount of time?

Yes i can imagine, i can't imagine those arrows falling from the sky tho, what you describe should be seen as the ''Strafe'' ability from the Amazon in Diablo 2. (Fire rapidly a large amount of arrows on nearby enemys). Wich would be a lot more logical and fun, than just channeling our own version of Blizzard.

Either that or buff Multi-Shot to something similar to the Diablo 2 Amazon's Multi-Shot, mechanic-wsie, that would be simply a wider and spammable Cone of Cold, but that would fit a lot better. And be funnier than : Go in melee -> Explosive Trap -> Disengage -> Channel Volley.

that would be sick if each little lightning bolts in the maelstrom weapon aura stands for one charge, and the big thing in the middle appears when all 5 charges are active, and the whole thing pulses, omg EXCITED!

Also, the power auras are mostly looking nice, only the druid ones are not really what I want. But they are ok.

Well, they Blizz Auras look sweet indeed. Let's hope they are as customizable as Power Auras are, the different conditions, Sounds, Timers etc.
If they're not I guess I'll stick with Power Auras.

What if we don't want to see the spell activation effects? Can we turn that stuff off, or do we have to put up with giant graphic effects popping up in the middle of our screen every few minutes?

GC doesn't seem to get the point, or maybe it's just me. He doesn't want ret pallys to mash a skill as soon as it comes on cooldown ... isnt that the idea? If not we are just losing dps by doing nothing. Mages dont have to pause their dps at any point, why do ret pallys? Right now on the beta servers they have a pretty big gap of doing nothing.

I wish i could comment more on ret pallys, but with the damage text bug and ret aura bug, paladins are impossible to gauge ATM.

Duuuuude, those Power Aura icons are absolutely amazing. Completely solves my issue of deciding upon a fitting aura too...

Volley gone from hunters? Sucks, but oh well. At least they are willing to admit it that the classes are too homogenized and trying to do something about it. Nothing much, mind you, just something.

I really hope they're going to "fix" combo points. The very small red dots on a character frame just don't cut in reality. I can't imagine anyone not installing an addon to keep track of combo points.
