Ya it is fairly popular in the US. I have never played it as that type of scenario really doesn't interest me. I am a bigger fan of the resource management aspects of RTS games rather than that style of hero advancement.

Yes they do. There are quite a few tournaments including one in Blizzcon every year. For those of you who don't know, Defence of the Ancients (DotA) is a custom warcraft 3 campaign. You have to defend huge buildings called ancients and you have access to regular wc3 units incluiding heroes, that you have to level. You also get various npcs that help you out. look it up.

RTS is very difficult for me,I like ACT game,just like NINJA GAIDEN II, I'm very boring beacause my friend don't know what is NG2 and most other game, they just play DOTA and feel very happy....
