    1. Rise of The Horde (Good, provides insight of Orcs on Draenor)
    2. The Last Guardian (Very good! Bout Medivh and the Dark portal opening)
    3. Tides of Darkness (Second War, pretty Epic)
    4. Beyond the Dark portal (THis one you can skip, but its good in my opion)
    5. Day of the Dragon (6.5/10, but still readable)
    6. Of Blood and Honor (Two thumbs up for Tirion and Eitrigg)
    7. Lord of The Clans (AWESOME, you dont read this, you fail)
    8. Cycle of Hatred (Meh, didnt finish it)
    9. War of the Ancients Trilogy (Very good...for Knaak)

Beware of Night of the Dragon...couldnt finish it it was so bad.

Edit: Havent read Arthas or Stormrage yet...havent heard good things about them though. The Shattering:Prelude to the Cataclysm looks pretty damn epic, cant wait for it to come out.

Arthas has some decent writing although human lore is pretty typical Knights VS Evil stuff.

As for Stormrage.. If you feel like going head to head with Knaakgar and his LOLSTOOOOOOORRRRRRMMMM then read it.. otherwise it's crap and all you need to know if Malfurion gets out of the dream.

    Read the books. They're amazing.

I read Lord of the Clans, about Thrall, and The Last Guardian, about Medivh/Karazhan before TBC expansion, and when I saw that they would be in the game after I've read about them, I was utter squeeee Also, potential spoiler here so read on slowly! Who else felt hugely sorry for the orcs after reading Rise of the Horde? I so did what a tragic manipulation =(

OH and the War of the Ancients trilogy is quite possibly the biggest loregasm I've ever had.

    :Spoilers:

    Malorne & Ysera!

I think those are grafic novels/manga/comics. Whatever you want to call them.

-I don't care what the next expansion is about, as long as the story is dark and rich so I can refer to it as Chocolate WoW.

I just finished reading Rise of the Lick King.. It wasn't that bad, but the author could have made the book 100pages longer.. It was to short imo.
War of the Ancient trilogy is my favorite so far. Really dont follow alot of people here when it comes to Knaak. But, that is how I feel it so dont come flaming back. We have different views

I really recommend Tides of Darkness by Rosenberg. I've read most of the Warcraft books, but Tides of Darkness is actually awesome(Compared to the others). Even if its not a real piece of literature, I find its a happy medium between entertainment, and serious reading.

The only two that I have had trouble reading and understanding (Malfurion & Night of the Dragon) Were by Knaak. I have read NotD twice, and I still don't understand a lot of it. The storyline just gets jumbled up.
