I think the question is coming from the fact that, in order to be able to summon the boss, you have to have a druid who has done the quest chain, which involves going back to Moonglade and Azshara.

I would assume that if the areas are changed so much as to destroy the quest chain (Not in beta, have no idea) that they wouldn't just remove the boss, they'd leave it there for those who have previously done the quest chain.

I seem to recall Blizz saying they were removing keys..? Sorry, I don't have the quote. I just have a fuzzy recollection of it. If that's true, then how will that effect summoning the raven lord? I guess druids who have done the chain will.. have the ability to do it? No key involved?

Nope, but it will be increasingly harder to get as no druids will bother doing the quest to summon the Raven Lord.

I hate to tell you, but Reins of the Raven Lord comes from the druid's epic flight form quest, and since we leveled over it to the point it was farmable in Lich King, they already removed the mount drop from the game.

Ive heard stuff like that "keys getting removed" since start of wotlk lol :P Its been said about everything from kara key to brd key etc. And all those keys still exists. With Azhara changing I dunno about the quest chain, but its done at the edge of it, not in the mid of it. So we really gotta wait and see, either til cata comes or if someone find a blizz note about it.
