Is cold weather flying gone?

Last night i transferred a rogue that i had just gotten to 80 to beta, who hasn't trained cold weather flying yet, and was able to fly in northrend. Anyone else tried/know if it's still needed?

It would make sense, the only purpose it had was being a small goldsink.

well that could be there "effect" on northrend it is hot enough for normal flying now >.>
