Troll and gnome events - cata coming soon?

Yall just heard it and probably saw it on the front page. The gnome and troll events hit live today. Does this mean Cataclysm is coming sooner than everyone anticipated?

I for one foresee an October/November release date.

Everyone has kinda already been assuming it will be October/November.
Though it could come out even later then that, either way, I wouldn't hold your breath just yet.

I'd say it further put's it right on time which most people are saying and speculating, Mid October - Mid November release. This time range speculation is pretty much across the board.

We still have to have the 4.0 Patch, which in itself is like a month - a month and a half release time. You'd have better luck judging by that than this.

I reckon this event will run until the next part of the pre-cataclysm events, there's a lot more that's gonna happen. So yeah, I think we can count on a release some 2 months from now, no doubt.
When the pre-patch happens you can be almost guaranteed it's a month away.

If Cataclysm is coming in November as most people assume, then it makes sense for these events to be starting now.

This isn't any big revelation or anything, everything seems to be going as expected.

I hope not. There is alot to be changed and updated in the old world. And there is alot I would want them to change. Exteding the release date is a GOOD thing and I hope they'll do it.

Presumably it comes with 4.0, i.e. the pre-Cataclysm patch introducing the new class combos, the changed to the old world (so, basically the Cataclysm itself), new talents and so on.
