Looks like Exotics are getting some really nice abilities. I didn't really envision Blizz making BM hunters desirable in raids by giving them some powerful raid-wide abilities but hey, whatever works.

A BM's got a raidbuff. A variety of raidbuffs to choose from (given by exotic pets). Good idea, actually.

They wanted hunters to be like a wild card for buffs, so this makes sense. At the same time, it's fair that only beast mastery hunters get bloodlust/heroism, because that'd be nuts if it was just wittle Fluffy doing it.

Sounds good, this confirms a little query that I had going on for beast mastery hunters. Looks like they have a use for standard pets now if there's need for a certain buff.

EDIT: Those saying that shamans and mages will be bitching, remember, they want the classes to be unique enough, yet they don't want "bring the class, not the player" scenarios like we have. So if you really feel like you need that bloodlust/heroism for your raid, you have three classes/specs to choose from instead of one now. That's not a bad thing.

Nice that gief some reason to go BM so it wont get as useless for pve as it is now.
