New non-combat pets (Companions)

Evening all. Apologies if this or something similar has been posted before, search system seems to bug everytime I try to search
Been scanning through the database and came across what looks to be a few new companion pets.
1) http://db.mmo-champion.com/s/15648/corrupted-kitten/ There's already a Green kitten texture in the current non-cataclysm model viewer, could it be this?
2) http://db.mmo-champion.com/s/87863/eat-the-egg/ This one confused me, it's listed under companions, but how exactly does a stationary egg move?

As a pet collector myself, I can sum this up in two words; Do Want. Especially the "fucking seagull."

Oh, let's start a discussion. What sort of companion pet would you like to see come Cataclysm?

8 and 12 are engineering pets, remember them being shown on main page a few weeks back. The World Destroyer is a little mini Fel Reaver/Doomwalker

There's also the hand pet =) and I luff the seagulls, they are so cute <3 I hope they remain tame able by hunters, but they probably won't. Just the bear cubs in WotLK beta.

I wonder what the racial non combat pets for worgen and goblins will be.

Some of these pets are already ingame but only available in some version of WoW. Like Warbot is a US only pet for the mountain dew thingy. The Jades are China/Korea only

The Elemental pets are most likely available as a pre-cataclysm event reward.

Onyx Panther or Enchanted Purple Jade may be the pet enchanters are supposed to get, but either could also be Jewelcrafting pets.

Isn't that what the baby fawn pet is for already? You get the skunk at 50 and the fawn at 100, I thought.
Edit: Whoops, nope, it's 75. So yeah, probably a 100 pets achievement is in the works. Wonder what the reward for THAT will be...

Wrong. Verified engineering pet, it's a miniature fel reaver.

Also wrong. It's a pet presently only available in Taiwan as part of a current billing promotion.

Yes, there's a white rat from the Orgrimmar Children's Week quests. And I love rats, I had them for years and they make awesome pets. And with size scaling, well... A mouse the size of any of the other companion pets would more or less look like a rat anyway, and one that was properly sized you wouldn't be able to see.

That's why the mouse pet needs to walk on two legs, have a monocle, top hat and tuxedo vest OR be like Reepacheep (sp?) from Narnia - so hat with a feather and a rapier.
