<Mayhem> is a freshly established Alliance guild on the Kul Tiras server. We draw our raiders from multiple servers and raid backgrounds, and we have a decent mix of nationalities and personalities within the guild. Our guild community is very active; you can always expect to find someone online most hours of the day, both in-game and on our forums and voice communication server. Our approach to raiding is definitely hardcore, and we try to do everything we can to up our chances of progress, be this playing PTRs or raiding early to get new content down fast. <Mayhem> has a very positive attitude when it comes to raiding and definately uphold a "get up and go" mentality with the game. At the moment we are looking to finalize our core raiding team, with our eyes set firmly on Cataclysm. We recently got the realm first kill on Halion 10-man Heroic, and are looking forward to adding several new accomplishments in the near future.
Guild Structure
<Mayhem> has a Guild Master and 2 Officers currently. All major and minor decisions are made through consensus amongst this group; this includes loot distribution. Our intention is to use loot as less of a reward and more as a tool for progress. We split our raiding team into two ranks: ordinary members are given the rank of Raider, whilst consistently excellent and dependable members are designated Core Raiders, and get priority on things like raid invites. Ideally, we would like a guild consisting of nothing but Core Raiders. Due to this, we thoroughly scrutinize applicants so we find just the right people with the right sort of attitude, humor and devotion
Raiding Times
We currently raid 3 days a week until Cataclysm.
We will raid 5 days a week, often more. Regular raids are scheduled between 20:00 and 24:00 server time, from Sunday to Thursday. We still do plenty of content on our "off-days," such as alt runs, GDKP runs, etc.
Recruitment Status
We are currently mainly looking for the below class and spec combinations for <Mayhem>. That being said, we will always consider great applications from any class.
What we expect from you
* 90% raid attendance is a minimum. We want to keep the guild small and efficient, so we require a high degree of activity from individual members.
* Maturity when required. We love to have a laugh and we do, but there's a time and a place.
* We strongly oppose drama which disrupts the harmony of the guild, therefore we're looking for players who can solve their personal issues maturely.
* Ability. We understand that everyone has different learning curves, but we have no room for people who consistently fail.
* We want players who give 100% into their class, theory-crafting, reading-up, using the best enchants, specs and gems. If you aren't we probably won't even trial you.
* We have no room for people who sully our reputation as a guild through repeated idiocy, either in instances, on forums or in trade chat.
