    Last Track ability

    So... is there a reason why we can't track mechanicals?

    I hardly use any of my tracking abilities unless I'm looking for a mob while leveling. Outside of that it is always on humanoid.

    good thinking;

    Mechanicals should be able to be tracked, because 1: they can leave dangerous gas from burning them fuel or 2: they can make mechanical noises or 3: they can leave footsteps.

    Blizzard might think that mechanicals are out of hunters 'hunting' league/arsenal.

    Only when it ganked you. It had to stomp 250 noobs first to become a Pro Ninja.

    I have a theory it stalked you, but everytime you turned around, it hid behind a small rock.

    And I'm pretty sure the talent you're talking about is accessible by every spec and it increases your damage done to most everything as long as any tracking is active. Could be wrong but the way I'm reading it, it seems to hint it works that way.

    Wrong. You must be tracking the mob type in question in order to get the damage bonus. If you're tracking humanoids and fighting undead, you're literally flushing 5% of your dps down the toilet.

    you are playing like 5 patches ago maybe ?

    it got fixed ages ago in ulduar, but it still doesnt give 5% for mechanical units and hence The OPs concern is valid

    to make it more clear here is your spell http://www.wowhead.com/spell=52788

    here is the spelldescription:While tracking Beasts, Demons, Dragonkin, Elementals, Giants, Humanoids and Undead, all damage done to those types by the Hunter is increased by 5%.
