New Patch: Problems Downloading?

Anyone else having issues with the new patch for the Blizzard Downloader? For some reason, the system is trying to download a 2.1.1 patch, and I would appreciate any help with fixing this issue. Take care.

Run you wow.exe straight and it will finish there. Downloader is hung.

Well, I wasn't sure if it was even the correct patch, but its stuck at 93% and I've tried several methods to resolve the problem. Anyways, thanks for the help.

Mine hit 97% and now just crashes saying the download isn't authorized

Thanks. I ran it directly from the WoW.exe file and it worked perfectly. Take care.

I get that mine couldnt apply patch. I get the download "ingame" and then I hit the restart button and it freezes, then it says it can apply patch.


Any ideas?

Try to run as an admin? Worked for me everytime a new patch released.

-Ran WoW as normal from desktop: Patch failed due to authorization.
-Ran WoW as normal from desktop again, no patch DLer on the launcher: Exited.
-Ran WoW from Program files(86X)/Blizzard Entertainment/World of Warcraft/Launcher: logged in, DLing update. Says patch is required.
-Clicked restart link in character selection: Sent back to launcher (no patch).
-Launched game, logged in, sent to character selection as normal: Able to select character: NO PATCH.

-Cannot located WoW.exe in World of Warcraft files.

EPIC FAIL.
