This is what I was thinking. The patch probably isn't going to be as big as the ptr(16gigs). I would say 10-12gigs maximum.

So, if they keep releasing this ~2gigs every 2 days, we could possibly see it as early as the 24th.

But we all know that Blizzard don't patch on weekends. Blizzard don't play that game. Jive turkey.

I can sincerely confirm that running the torrent with your average torrenting software works 3 times better than Blizzard's downloader.

I have Limewire installed on this computer, but I think i might as well let the downloader take it's course seeing as my account is frozen until I decide to drive over to target and grab another game card

Next Tuesday seems like it's way too soon. They just released a new patch on the beta and ptr that balances and changes a lot of numbers. It seems to me like they're working double time to get it out faster(NOT RUSHING JUST WORKING FASTER), however, so I could be wrong.

yes , it's smaller in the US cause they don't got language packs in the patches since it's just english.
And if you mean " i got to download 4.45gb ? " that's cause you didn't preload the first part past week.

try installing internet explorer 8, it helps with the problem you described in some cases. it helped me, and anyway it was suggested by a blue poster on tech forums

I'm not a specialist but what does a browser have to do with the issue?

Was wondering why eu is looking at like a 1.5 GB+ larger patch? can language packs really be that big? unless US download another stage after. seems they download 250 mb more per stage than us.

US is 3.97 , EU 4.45 that's like 500 mb more

You don't have the full patch yet so there's no way to patch the game. You'll have to wait till Blizzard releases the rest of the patch.
