    Whos got the better mount?

I like the horde one more, just seems a little more bad ass and the alliance mount's head just seems so miss-proportioned with the rest of the body.
If curiosity killed the cat, why can't speculation kill you?

Like the horde one better, alliance one is just a recoloured and half-remodeled nightsaber. It even have the same animations.

The Golden King. He is the symbol of the alliance as a Lion, and looks really cool. While the Scorpion has the novelty factor, i've never been much for bugs and I don't think it represents the Horde as well as the Lion does the Alliance.
Lurk n' jerk. Well, not so much the jerk part.

Although the Alliance one seems to match the faction a bit better, the Horde scorpion looks much better. I'm quite sure they've spent more time working on that sweet scorpion mount.

I'm not completely impressed by the lion, but I hate scorpions, so imo, the Alliance one is better.

The symbolism of the lion mount makes it cooler to me. It makes it incredibly obvious come Cata that the Alliance humps the symbolism of the lion.
I once had a character named "Clamslam" but Blizzard deemed it inappropriate.
Retired from WoW: February 19, 2011. It was fun Blizz.

The scorpion has the exact same animations as any other scorpion in WoW.

But I feel like the scorpion is going to win this because they're too many "omg too kewl" people on these forums.

I like the lion more because it just seems more realistic and it looks so badass charging. A scorpion charging into battle doesn't exactly feel like it's charging. It'd be like scuttling into battle.

Neither, Worgens have the best mount.

Elizabeth, Paladin of Stormwind, read the story of A Paladin in the Making.
Featuring now: Agent Vanseph, human Rogue agent of SI: 7, and Floral, the mysterious night elf Huntress
    accompanied by Hummer, ex-lion Pridelord!

The Dog sheds its fur! It's actually a chick?!

You do realise the scorpion uses the same animation as the normal NPCs and the model looks quite similar.

I like how people keep saying the Alliance is a re-skinned nightsaber when the Horde one is the also a re-skin

Scorpion is a cooler mount, but for a gud mount the lion trumps.
