Excesse is a pre wotlk, pre tbc guild, dating back to 2005, June to be exact. We did have a brief period of inactivity before migrating to Haomarush at start of WOTLK. Our core is rather small, consisting of 40 raiders most and we prefer to recruit long term members.
During summer, this number jumped up but this is simply recruitment we do at the end of the expansion and/or summer.
How we raid:
Our progression is:
Vanilla - Cleared
TBC - Cleared
ICC - Cleared
RS - Cleared
WOTLK - Cleared, with Deaths Demise, Celestial Defenders & Grand Crusader.
Working on Immortality.
What we need from you as a person:
- Ability to write, speak and understand English. We have players from all around the world - we don't need a mute, shy or verbally challenged people. On the other hand, we don't need VT terrorists.
- Comprehension of your character and at least basic idea what theory craft is. If you are able to play more than one spec - it is an added bonus we will look into.
- We require a Raid level of gear -at least iLevel 264 with proper enchants and gems
- Ability to raid 4 days per week (we may increase this for Hard modes or decrease it when everything is on farm) with your undying dedication to start and finish the raids. (Raiding time from 19:00 till 23:00 CET)
- Stable connection and good PC which can withstand raiding
- Hard achievements from WOTLK are a big plus including HC modes in ICC
- Thick skin and ability to understand hard criticism
- Ability to click on Signup or Dimiss button on our online signup system for raids. Yes, for some people this is hard
Expectation from Trials:
- You are able to show for 95% of raids during your trial period and show dedication with good performance. Keep in mind, we clear ICC in around 2 hours then grind LK25 HC with taking days off when needed
- You are able to inform yourself about bosses and their abilities and how we handle them without giving us 'But I'm first time on the boss' excuse
- You won't whine if benched

a) IRL Problems
b) Uni exams
c) Friends that need furniture moved
d) Moving houses
e) Father (or any family member) with cancer or any other illness that would prevent you from raiding
f) You live in an area that is prone to natural disasters including meteor strike and badger attack
g) You are prone to stabbing, shanking, shiving and other blade related injuries
h) You are a gang member or involved in a gang activity.
I'm aware that 95% attendance (close to 100% as a member) sounds harsh but since we've heard everything from a-h, if not more, we are looking for a proper players and not a purple collectors.
