I received an eMail from Amazon.com today, telling me when my preordered WoW: Cataclysm will be shipped!
i'm not able to post the link since i haven't posted anything yet.. but i guess you'll manage it:

Says something like:
Cataclysm will presumably be shipped until november 18th. so november 16th / 17th should be the release date, what would make boubouille be 2 weeks wrong..? :>

What, do you think Blizz is ran by 30 people - 15 of them are working on WoW, 10 of them on SC2, 4 on Diablo, and a retarded donkey worked on this app for a few months? Do you also think that hamsters power their servers and when they get tired, all the servers crash?

yeah so it will be shipped BEFORE november 18th.. just like WotLK and SC2, which had been shipped several days before the release.
Still the game itself won't give you any use, since you first need to register your copy, which won't be possible before the official release, aKa the upgrade-servers being availabe.

Its not a matter of making up dates, its a matter of needing a date in the system in order to take pre-orders. So you either pick and outrageous date (December 2199) or a logical guess (mid November) and then change it when an official date comes out. Originally Posted by Baldorya

I doubt this new date is a coincidence. I'm pretty sure November 18th was told to Amazon and they sent emails to their customers. Perhaps its just the overseas department, because I dont think Americans are getting this Amazon email.
