Invictus was established on June 22, 2010. We are a fairly new progression; 25-man guild. Invictus prides itself on its ability to clear content but still have fun. The majority of the core raiders are adults so that we can keep having fun without sacrificing the maturity level at which we do so.
We want people that want to be the best. We all do the research; experimenting necessary to get the most out of our gear/specs/rotations. If you see someone with similar gear, beating you, you should want to figure out why and rectify the problem. You should be able to do this on your own. We will help if you can't figure out what is going on, after you research for yourself, but no free rides. Initiative is rewarded.
Cataclysm: We will be switching to EPGP loot system (from Loot Council). We will raid 10's till enough of the raiders level to 85 for us to start 25's. That's right, we will stay a 25-man guild! Raid times will stay the same (Mon, Tues, Weds, and Thurs 8:15pm-12:00am Eastern).
Recruiting: All classes are welcome. If you are taking a break before Cata, that is fine. Some of us are doing the same. We are going to require that everyone be 85 within a month of Cata release. If you are not, you will be removed from guild. If you have not logged on within the first two weeks of Cata release, you will be removed from guild.
