Hey guys and girls, as the title of the thread says, im nervous about the amount of space Cataclysm will take up. My computer at the moment, after the new updates, had 6.5gigs of space left. I'm sure others will also be curious.

The beta is currently 21.5 Giga , I guess live will add 5 giga to that minimum

well i imagine all the old world stuff will be overwritten. My folder is currently ~20 GB, i can't imagine more than a couple GB will be added.

25ish GB including both old and new world data. It's unknown wether old world data can be deleted or not, after the cataclysm.

Looks like you are going to have to delete some of your enormous porn collection, get a computer that wasn't made in the 90s or drop $30 on a external hard drive which has 5x more memory than your entire computer. Originally Posted by Clempson
Right now it is tough to say how much room it is going to take up. Assuming all of the new old world content completely overwrites the data currently on your computer you will still be looking at a fair bit of storage gain from new content alone. Short answer, you are likely completely boned.
