Hey, so I remember the Green Brewfest Stein being the vintage one from 2009. We all got our feats of strength for getting it in March, 2010. Just this morning, a couple guild-members got their steins at Brewfest... and got the "vintage" ones from last year.
Is this what is happening now? Was this a bug? What's going on? O.o
Are they going to get theirs' exchanged for the real color this year?

Actually, I can understand that they are busy with cata, but I do think its kind of lame that they couldnt make the same model but with a new colour

If you are looking for someone that actually knows what is going on you are posting in the absolute wrong place. There are about a dozen threads about this in the proper place. When blizzard makes a response you will know. For now, yes it is completely terrible that there isn't a new stein and frankly I expect a change after tommorrow's server rest or a hotfix before. My speculation is that it was an oversight by Blizzard that could have been corrected, but now that people have already done the quest and gotten the green one it's made it too complicated of a situation to resolve.
Or maybe they just don't care anymore about people playing on live until cata comes out.

I don't see why there has to be a new FoS every day of the week. Congrats, you managed to have a subscription running during date x and date y, you deserve an achievement mentioned in the same breath as Realm Firsts.

Them re-skinning an old model of some stein will not push their Cata release date back or anything. Those of you who honestly think it would affect the release date in the slightest, have no clue what re-skinning is apparently.
See: Alliance guild lion mount = re-skinned night saber.
Horde Scorpion guild mount =/= re-skinned any previous mount.
