About us.

Silver Storm was founded at the start of Wrath of the Lich King, by people that have earlier raided together in The Burning Crusade. However we were forced to take a small break for several months, now we're back!

Our goal is to create and maintain a stable raiding force, within the guild, capable of overcomming the challanges this game offers. We want to give every member a change to learn and expand their experiance while enjoying all the fun this game has to offer and at the same time allow each and every member of the Silver Storm to prove themselfs and make it to the top.

We value quality over quantity, we won't recruit people that aren''t committed in becoming contributing members of this guild. Members that are making a difference in our ongoing effort to overcome the goals that are set forth.

We are a guild that focuses on every aspect of the environmental (PvE) challenges that exist in the game and we''re always striving to improve ourselfs through teamwork, skill and effort.

Our Leadership is composed of Calisma, Nona, Revoke and Neyan. Don't hesitate to contact them if you have any questions of comments.

What are we looking for?

We ask that the person that applies fit the following profile.

- Good understanding of his/her class. What stats are important, what the best DPS/TPS rotation is, etc.
- Aware of your surroundings in raids. Don't talk to Thrall and don't stand in fires. The usual staying alive, don't get anyone killed idea.
- Good knowledge of the English language. The ability to understand others and make them understand you.
- Maturity, this has nothing to do with the actual age, more about how people behave. We want the guild a pleasant place to be in, as such we don't approve of immature behavior that ruins the atmosphere.
- Social. We can not force this of course, but we would like to see people being more then just raid loggers and more trying to form a community.
- Decent/Good computer (no constant lag), and be able to use Ventrilo.

Raiding shedule.

Our raiding days are Monday - Thursday, our raids start at 19:30 and end at around 23:00, sometimes later. We require our members to be able to regularly attend, at the very least, three of these raids per week.

Currently we've cleared 9/12 in ICC Heroic on 25 man.

- Fire/Arcane ( Requires very high attendance).

- CLOSED.

- Combat ( Requires very high attendance - Above 90% the very least).

Shaman:
- Restoration.
- Enhancement.

Warlock:
- CLOSED.

- Fury/Arms.
