Levelling Proffesions On Cata Release.

So up until now I never really bothered with Professions, so I don't have any experience with what happens with expansions.

Just wondering - If I save mats for Enchanting/JC (The 2 proffs I have on my main). Will they still be Orange/Yellow and give skill-ups when Cata is released?

Or will they turn green or gray, to prevent people from doing this.

not 100% sure but they should still be orange for a while

Should stay orange or yellow for a certain amount of levels. Superior items will stay for 30 levels or so but mats will be high. JC unless there are cheap items you can make cutting epic gems come expansion time they will be useless. Eng might have a few decent recipes.

sometimes they drop 1 color lower after one craft though. Like you may do one Berserking and it goes yellow when it was orange. It does seem to vary per prof, in Wrath I made tons of skillups on tailoring from the leg enchants but with LW I was forced to use new patterns with new mats, same with alchemy.
