The most retarded 3's comp prediction!

The most odd comp I see happening in 3's is:

Holy Priest/Boomkin/Death Knight.


Why? Holy priests have good dps and stuns. Main advantage is living a extra 15 seconds since how ridiculous burst is.


The boomkin puts down solar beam (10 second beam, silences if the target is inside of it.), grips healer in it... spam coi for full 10 second silence.. stun afterwords and then strangulate... with a mind freeze on top of boomkin burst, use chastise on mid heal.


It's going to have to be a cleave team at the least.

You missed the fact CoI is just slightly more than a regular slow in Cata.

And burst in Cata won't be anywhere near comparable to what we have now. So all your assumptions are flawed.

Protection Warrior/Boomkin/Resto Shaman

Protection Warriors are very anti-caster and controlling. Boomkins are just awesome. aoe instant roots and aoe snares will peel melee and keep casters from running away from the prot. The shaman is there cause of the nice healing, the hex, and bloodlust (which makes boomkins pew pew harder). Fun stuff.

For some reason I can also see Affliction/DK/Resto Druid working. It was a strong comp, but now they are literally a slow moving drain team. Resto druids will still be awesome with instant roots/cyclone and affliction/dk last a while.

my comp idea is holy paly/affliction lock/shadow priest when cataclysm comes out. dark intent on both priest and lock while pally uses mostly its' mastery ability to put bubbles up, cleanses, and healing big damage done while doing damage on spare time.
