    Do Dial up
    Modes make you really
    type your posts
    like
    this?

    Well, in fact, can't you get them over a torrent or something at a friends place;
    if hes playing the game aswell. And then just burn them to a CD and take them home?

    Sure beats ''455 Days 10 Hours 22 Minutes Remaining''.

    LOL, I was totally thinking he was posting is like, a poem format or something. Then I thought, "Who would put poems here?". Also, no, poems don't "need" to rhyme.

    One would say the devil hides in Dial-up contraptions...What else would explain the constant spells that cut the link to heaven at the worst times?

    Ah, many Warcraft II and Stacraft matches left in mystery, never to be concluded, no thanks to that creature of misery and mischief.

    Sig: Left-aligned forms are the slowest of the three to complete because of the number of eye fixations they require to parse.

    4.0.1 might not be too huge since it mainly contains system changes rather then actual content. 4.0.3 on the other hand will definitely be the largest patch to date by a longshot.

    If worst comes to worse, you could do without WoW for a week and wait until Cataclysm comes out on DvD-rom. Then you'll only have to download any content added between the physical pressing of the DvDs and the actual release, which is insignificant compared to the mammoth patch 4.0.3 is.

    Come to think of it, assuming an average download speed of 6 KB a second, it would probably take over a week to download patch 4.0.3 anyways. I did the math, assuming the patch is 5 gigabytes in size, it would take over 9 days on such a connection to download.

    My personal advice is to go see what kind of Cable or DSL you can get in your area. Cable is generally faster, but DSL is available in more remote areas and is cheaper to have and setup as it uses the existing phone lines.
    Roleplaying, hardcore Raiding, running LFR on the occasional weekend, PvPing, rolling alts, achievement hunting, pet battling, or just enacting an endless series of whims, I don't care how you play WoW. Just as long as you have fun doing it.

    What would you use broadband for with no WoW?
