What priest spell would you counter Dark Simulacrum with?

Basically the title, which priest spell would you use when a DK blows Dark Simulacrum (the copy next spell cast move that DK's are getting) to make the DK waste the CD?

I would, however, cast Mind Soothe. It counts as an "offensive" spell.

i had not thought about mind soothe ill add it to the poll. For me personally it comes down to levitate, fade, or mind soothe. Whichever one costs less mana imo.

Question is, does DS also steal empowered spells? Such as if you DS Fade from a SP that also breaks roots/snares, will it also break roots/snares for you or will it just copy its untalented/unglyphed base form?

well considering that the tooltip wouldnt change for the spell, DK's would probably use it right away just to allow their CD to start coming back. Smart DK's would save it for when you would MB crit them to free the root.

From the spell itself on cataclysm wowhead, it states that it copies "any spell that consumes mana." so im guessing (if levitate doesn't change to be free) that lev will be the best option for this scenario.

Good DK's will frustrate you because they will predict when you need to use a key ability (such as silence or fear) and they will hit you with it then so an instant is really the only option to use.

EDIT: Hymn of Hope doesn't cost mana xD Im sorry for my ignorance.

However, Hymn of hope could be useful considering that the DK would have to channel and intterupt it thus wasting its use for any mana users on his team. either that or the DK sits there channeling something for no benefit toward himself.

Nope heals and buffs such as shadowform can be DC'ed as well.

I don't know why you would cast Mind Control. Then you just gave the DK Mind Control....

Mind Vision seems like the best bet.
