Legendary Caster Weapon in Cata?

Anyone remember Blizz saying there would be a legendary caster weapon first in Cata, if so what is your opinion on what it might be or where it might be from, or even the proc it might have...

I should be a weapon for classes than didn't get one before cataclysm. Let remember:
-2H mace
-2H Axe
-1H sword
-1H mace
-1 arrowless bow

And, the long time dissaperader 2H staff.

Dagger for sure. Priests shadow, mages, locks, boomkins and Lighting guys, they all use daggers.

Probably it'll be such a great dagger that it'll be difficult to know if it's a 2H sword or not.

It will probably be a caster sword.
They like to play with the emotions of the player base and a sword would do just that (sorry chickens, eles , and spriests).
Mages, locks and possibly hpals will rejoice.

I agree, I think daggers are pretty bad looking in general and shouldn't be the 'global' caster weapon, staffs can kinda be considered that except that one caster DPS has a shield slot.

Only way I could see this being different is if Blizzard quit making caster daggers sharp and melee looking("quick"), I mean seriously?

Decorated daggers would be pretty cool.

There are three classes that can use Shadowmourne, and one class that get the full benefit of the legendary bow. It's hardly going to stop them.

The bow was because hunters were the only class without a legendary. Ok they could equip thunderfury but the proc is what made that weapon so clearly it wasn't for hunters. All 2h dps classes can use shadowmorne, thats the point. Why make a "caster" legendary if only 2/5 the casters can use it?

GC once stated that their artists like designing too much and that legendary will be rather big.
So my guess goes to staff (duh)

I just hope that after caster legendary, hunters get their legendary finally...
Thoridal was pretty much the same as atiesh, released at the very end of expansion 3 months or so before next expansion so even the ones who got it, didnt rly get to fully enjoy it.

and i hope its freaking bow, im tired of gun/xbow always being end wpn for whole wotlk...

It's not a warlock related legendary, but my friend was talking to me about legendaries in Cata.

He thinks the last legendary we'll have in Cataclysm will be a shield. According to lore (And I'm just going off of the top of my head) he made goblin alchemists smelted him with elementium, creating elementium scales. He thinks in some way you can get one of the scales (or a version of the scales) as a gigantic shield for tanks.

Names he thought of: [Elementium Plated Scale of the Betrayer] or [Elementium Scale of the Betrayer]
