Hey, i was just thinking about "The Athenaeum" Which is the Shen' dralar's library of 10.000 years of worth of Highborne history and yet there isnt any readable books in here? I found it abit disappointing. Yet again, I have never really farmed reputation with them, so if theres books you can read with higher standings I wouldnt know so correct me if I'm wrong...

Waiting for a gm reply, but I wanted to know how you guys also feels about this, and yes I know this is a lore freak discussion, but I am one! D: Always will be!

I'm exalted, but I doubt there is any mechanic that lets higher reputation read books there. Never heard of at least.

Ive lived off wowwiki for years, but its not always interesting reading this there >_> they gave scarlet crusade books, but the people who have done nothing but log 10.000 years of knowledge into books have none?

I doubt if the GMs are able to give you a proper answer on this question. This sounds more like something you should ask the game designer/lore guys.

Hmm ... They have made lots of books, but everyone of them is in languages you simply don't know, so your character is smart enough to know there is no point to look at them!? ;D

Now that i think about it though, if they had a chance, they would have made levitating killer books.

In karazhan you found some random books that gave you buffs and a short story atleast thats some books.

Actually there are four books from the Shen'dralar library you can read.

Libram of Focus
Libram of Protection
Libram of Rapidity
Foror's Compendium of Dragon Slaying

But you still cant read them in the library and most of them are pictures of places and prophecies, not history as I recall
