Technically as wowwiki puts it Goblin Sappers are always Goblins that are less intelligent than the rest. They're sacrificial because they lack any usefulness. Thats how they get talked into becoming sappers as well, cuz they aren't as intelligent. So punting a PLAYABLE Goblin will not blow u up.

    Punting is for gnomes.

Goblins, you throw like irate green handgrenades.

Those ears would probably be good handles, considering their size in proportion to the rest of the goblin.

Yeah, grabbing and tossing a goblin is a bit more believable than punting one.

And unfortunately, Garrosh and his orcs prove that the story of "messing with goblins gets you explosions" isn't entirely true because they seem to be doing it quite often. During the intro to Twilight Highlands questline, you're sent to rough a few of them up. Of course those that get roughed up are either grossly incompetent with their machines or trying to swindle the Horde by cutting safety measures to save money, so it's not like they don't deserve it.

And there are also those dissenters that you have to rough up for a quest in the start zone. If goblins were that volatile, one would think both the player character and the NPC would be in some degree of danger.

The allmighty goblin toss. Where dwarfs and other brawny races toss goblins to see how far the pint sized geniuses/polluters can be thrown and for fun

And then, there's the reason why tauren and orcs occasionally toss goblins: Sometimes, one just has to place a tiny little fury warrior right in the middle of things as quickly as possible.

You simply cant punt goblins... they got escape pods

And why people keeps comparing gnomes and gobs in size? gobs are dwarvish size... actually goblins could punt gnomes no problem

They're bigger than gnomes, but slightly shorter and considerably more lightly built than dwarves, IIRC. That's what it seemed like during the start experience on the beta (you have to kill pirates, some of whom are dwarves), anyway.

I wouldn't punt a Goblin, unless I want some thermo-nuclear explosions to happen.
